1BTN presents Where Love Lives, a family friendly camping/festival weekend at the rural Bentley Estate 30 mins from Brighton, with a soundtrack provided by some of 1BTN’s finest, as well as a slew choice guests for good measure.
You’ll be treated to a very broad brushstroke of our musical palette, taking in acid house, Balearic bliss, ambient soundscapes, jump up jazz, sassy sunshine soul, roots and reggae, Worldwide goodness, blazing breaks, beats and so much more!
We are upping the ante from last year’s Lodgefest, starting on Friday afternoon with a couple of more stages, playing host to a plethora of talented selectors. Where Love Lives is delighted to be able to announce that Dave Jarvis & Stu Patterson will be bringing the righteous sounds of Faith to the East Sussex countryside. We are also joined by the delectable, Balearic original, Nancy Noise, as well as Dom Servini, Afronaut, Mark Force, Pressure Drop, Illustrious Blacks, Mixmaster Morris, J Felix and Midfield General.
Brighton’s own legendary record dealer and super selector, Nick The Record, brings his highly revered party set to the fields. Mr Melodica, Chris Coco, and his buoyant band of brothers join us once again with The Chill Out Tent bringing the sunshine bliss to proceedings. We have invited Brighton’s legendary fun packed, alternative club night Stick It On who will be hosting both adult and kid’s parties. We are also hosting a silent disco in the woods between 11pm-3am on Fri and Sat night for all you night owls. In short, we have invited an incredible array of musical artistry for what promises to be an epic, family weekend in the woods.
In addition to the musical entertainment, we will be providing a sizzling smorgasboard of independent, artisan food and drink options. There will be early morning mindfulness and wellbeing sessions, including a gong bath and yoga. We will be providing more entertainment for the kids, with woodland activities, miniature railway, DJ classes and more. We even have the option of quiet camping this year, keeping you out of the way out the rowdiness, should you need it!
