For the last 3 years I’ve been promoting and DJing at events in the UK and abroad, both solo and as half of Brighton’s legendary Freakaholic DJs.

Under the moniker Collide or Die, pre-lockdown, I’d begun putting on SMILEY parties, house music parties which aimed to connect up and coming artists whilst also supporting charities in my hometown, Brighton.

I have a life-long freaky love affair with music, it’s cheesy, and obvious, to say but my tastes are eclectic. I’m into all kinds of shizz from Psych to Garage, Synth Pop to Electro, House to Detroit Techno and it is fair to say that I’m obsessed with The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The first gig I went to as a super fresh 13 year old was The Cure at Wembley, around that time I started bunking off school to hangout with various indie bands in Portsmouth and London. By 1993 I’d got really into dance music.I went to house and techno nights on the South Coast, including Sterns, Bentleys and Geushky before London nights like The Final Frontier at Club UK, Lost and The End. Big memories for me are seeing Derrick May hold 1210s aloft whilst playing Strings of Life as the last track at The End and seeing Kraftwerk play Trans Europe Express at Tribal Gathering 1997. Current big memories include Haai smashing it at Homo Electric last year and being part of a Connan Mockasin sit-in at The Haunt a couple of years ago.

My Monday show is a mixed bag of wonky, experimental sweet treats – it usually includes a bit of John Maus, a bit of The BJM and a solid dose of super cute new releases 🙂

STAY RAD! STAY KIND! STAY CONNECTED!
