First Friday of the Month
I seek out an infectious song and play it over and over. Do you do that? The lad in my corner shop does, he’s Italian and I don’t recognise the songs he plays but his favourite is always on rewind – it’s just that for me, music gets under my skin. I started out cooking backstage and on tour for artists like Patti Smith, Lee Hazlewood and Arthur Lee and eventually I joined the circus by way of ‘The Famous Spiegeltent’. Here things changed, the parties got bigger, the nights longer and the dancers more fabulous and Brighton’s infamous Club Click was born. Described as ‘a brilliant night of disco classics, silliness and wild outfits’ Club Click re-ignited my passion for the decks and I’ve found myself playing alongside Luke Howard from Horsemeat Disco, Prince Fatty and Drizabone. Club Click has now found a home on the radio and joined the 1BTN family. It is an honour to be a part of such a creative team and it feeds my passion for the music. I love a great song from all genres and have a deep respect for those who craft the magic for us to enjoy. Join me on the first Friday of the month 4-6pm for Club Click’s monthly show, it’s all about the love….and the music..
