Magic Number Festival – Patterns (29/04/2017 – 30/04/2017)
It’s nice to have a party isn’t it? On the last weekend of April the hard working folk over here at 1Brighton will be hosting a festival right here in Brighton at Patterns by the Sea. There are loads of great acts and DJs on, Daddy G of Massive attack will be headlining along with the cream of 1Brighton. Alongside many other acts we’ve got the legendary Steve KIW, Mickey Duke and Molly Pop all from the station. We’ll be bringing down all the best of UK clubland to come down as well, bringing friends from Birmingham and Bristol. All this housed in the ideal venue of Patterns which is Brighton’s Mecca of dance music and great DJ’s. Besides a stellar line-up they’ll be some great street food from the foodies of Brighton and even a barbers! So come down look sharp eat well and enjoy a weekend of killer music for a complete steal of £15 or a day ticket for £9 the profits of which will be donated to local charities.

Happyness – The Hope & Ruin (18/04/2017)
London alt rockers Happyness are coming down to Brighton’s The Hope & Ruin touring the release of their long awaited third LP. Their previous albums have all received high critical acclaim from the indie press winning them an NME award in 2015 for their witty lyrics. They’re known for a no nonsense live show so expect cuts of all 3 albums; some new some old and some fan favourites. The event is close to selling out so grab your tickets while you can!

The Big Moon – The Haunt (20/04/2017)
The Big Moon have come leaps and bounds over the past few years creating quite a hype for themselves on the indie scene. They’ve played all over the world and have created a following from all over. Now with their long awaited debut LP released earlier this month they’re doing a victory lap all over the UK. It’ll be a moment to celebrate with the band, who have always treated Brighton like a second home. Catch them before they snowball into stardom!

JACKY – Patterns (21/04/2017)
Up and coming house legend JACKY is making his way down to Brighton’s Patterns for a night of brilliant intense beat. Set to be an all-nighter this event really is one not to be missed. After recently getting some attention from the keen ears of BBC Radio1, he’ll be coming down and showcasing his craft behind the decks at Patterns. The Newcastle lad has made a huge name for himself in his hometown earning himself a residency there in 2014. He’ll be spinning mixes off his latest EP Apache as well as some new mixes and old favourites. Tickets are still available but going fast!

Rejjie Snow – Concorde 2 (27/04/2017)
With rumours of a debut album on the way very soon Rejjie Snow is set to storm Brighton’s Concorde 2. With every single gathering lots of attention and smashing Hip-Hop charts all over the highly acclaimed rapper is going to bring an evening of high octane intensity to the Brighton seafront. He’s making a huge name for himself already and it’ll only take the release of his album to take the world by storm.
