Black Honey – Concorde 2 (3/04/2017)
With their searing Tarantino-esque riffs helping to reach new audiences Black Honey are set to play their biggest home town gig to date at Concorde 2. The Brighton band have been going from strength to strength over the past few years and it seems every release is beloved by the music press and fans alike. With an album (hopefully) on its way, the band are getting ready to take things up another notch. Before they take on the world they’re taking on Concorde 2 – it’ll be well worth catching them.

Crumbs – Green Door Store (04/04/2017)
Lo-fi post punks Crumbs are hitting up The Green Door Store for a night of raw powerful music. The band have uploaded demos to their Bandcamp site since their inception and hopefully there will be a full debut LP on the way soon. In the meantime, be sure to check them out on the club circuit and watch them whip up a storm live.

Nathan Fake – Patterns (08/04/2017)
After releasing his fourth album Providence on Ninja Tune recently, Nathan Fake will be celebrating in style at Brighton’s Patterns. His intense dark electronic beats will go down brilliantly with a Brighton crowd. Tickets are being snapped up fast so be sure to get yours soon for the ideal epic Saturday night out.

Jamie Isaac Sticky Mikes (12/04/2017)
London based electronic composer and singer Jamie Isaac Is set to take Sticky Mike’s by storm. His unique blend of spaced out synthesisers and quick fire drum beats is infectious and, combined with his soulful voice, he leaves plenty of room for experimentation. He has a long catalogue of mixes available on his Soundcloud page and these demonstrate his progression as a songwriter. After a brief US tour – Jaime gained lots of attention at this year SXSW festival – he is back on the home gigging circuit. Be sure to catch him when he stops by at Sticky Mikes; tickets are on sale and going fast.

The Orielles – The Hope & Ruin (14/04/2017)
Leeds band The Orielles have been slowly seeping into the consciousness of the UK indie scene for a while. First gaining traction amongst the music bloggers they are now setting their targets on the rest of the music scene. The band, who have recently signed to Heavenly Recordings, have just released their first single ‘Sugar Tastes Like Salt’ which has received airplay here at 1BrightonFM, as well as getting the seal of approval from BBC 6 Music. The band are set to gain more traction for the rest of 2017, playing larger venues on each visit down to Brighton. This time it’s at the Hope & Ruin.
