Bonded by our love of music, TV, crisp variety packs and hours spent in the Tru Thoughts office, Rose and I came together to form Underlying Oddities in early 2020 – pre-pandemic.
Each show, we pull together the best in new music, classic favourites and fresh remixes with a selection spanning Jazz, Soul and Funk to Hip-Hop, Electronic and Folk. Our goal is to create 2 hours of musical discovery that will also make you dance and sing along while we perfect our soothing radio voices.
When we’re not on air, you can usually find us campaign managing and content creating for local label Tru Thoughts, mooching around Sainsbury’s or drinking coffee/beer (depending on the day/time) somewhere on Kensington Gardens.
