Welcome to Our House – I’m Sophie.
Originally hailing from the midlands, I’ve always been surrounded by music from all corners of the world. I spent my teenage years working in a record shop which is where I really got my music education.
I wanted to study music seriously, so I ended up moving to Brighton over a decade ago for my degree and never left.
I’m a vocalist by trade, and have worked both in the UK and internationally as a session vocalist, singing everything from DnB to Disco! I love anything with a good vocal, so you’re just as likely to find me bouncing around at a festival to Kerri Chandler as you are to find me singing in front of a mirror to Mariah Carey (in the comfort of my own home, of course)
I’m a lover of all music but I have a serious penchant for house music in all of its forms. Heritage and history of music are important to me, so you can expect to hear everything from the early days of the Paradise Garage and The Loft, through to Acid House, Techno, Soulful, Funky… you name it, I’ll be playing it!
I love to play music with as much substance as style – and I can guarantee that the records I play will always put a smile on your face.
