I’m DJ Emma and I’m a DJ, producer & broadcaster from the South West of the UK. I’ve been DJ’ing since my early 20’s – only taking a break when my children were young. For the past 7 years – I’ve rekindled my passion in music and have built up a respectable career as a DJ at festivals such as We Out Here, Camp Bestival, Beatherder, Wilderness, Shindig and more. As well as being a DJ – I also love being in the studio producing my own music. My debut track ‘High On Music’ was released on Quantize Recordings in May 2021 and I have more releases on my bandcamp page.
My show – ‘Boogie Boulevard’ is 2 hour mix of music and chat including interviews with guests who interest me – both high profile and new-comers to the scene and an eclectic mix of musical genres from past and present including jazz funk, soul, gospel, breakbeat, house, garage, disco and more! I am just as passionate about the history of music as I am about new music and supporting up and coming artists.
