Music has been a big part of my life from day one, my dad was and still is a great guitar player and had an amazing record collection spanning everything from jazz to heavy rock which he’d blast out most days of the week. Inspired by him, I’ve been collecting records and DJing now for over 30 years. Originally from Durham, I moved to London 20 years ago and started a party with some fellow like-minded northerners called Bad Passion in East London which ran for 6 years. Off the back of the party we set up a record label called ‘Not An Animal’ which continues to run to this day. I’ve made music as part of Machete Savane, Latrec, AM as well as my own ongoing solo project.
I’ve played at lots of clubs, festivals and venues in the UK and accross Europe over the years which has given me the chance to play many different styles of music, so I try to put all of these into my show, everything from psychedelic folk, Idm, spiritual jazz, cosmic rock to afro, deep house and blissfull techno. I like to think that the stuff I play all has a sense of groove that really resonates with me and connects the music in a way that it all comes together to make it flow.
