“Say we are going up, we are going up”
What a weekend! Premier League football is coming to Brighton and Hove. The Albion have made it to the top flight.
It has been an incredible season for Chris Hughton’s team. Following the disappointment of the play-off exit last time out the Seagulls have secured automatic promotion to the Premier League and are now favourites to win the Championship title.
We’ve got a load of Seagulls fans on the team here – heck, Dan Tester from Family Funktunes also writes and publishes The Albion Mag each month. And although we’ve also got supporters of other clubs here each of us would like to send our congratulations to Tony Bloom, his players and coaching team, the staff and all of the supporters who have helped take the club from the lowest rungs to the top tier of the footballing pyramid.
The last time the Seagulls were competing in the top flight was 1983. That team also reached the FA Cup Final and since then the club has bounced through the divisions, been homeless and on the verge of liquidation. It’s been an amazing story and we get a sense that the next chapters may be even more exciting…
“Oh Sussex, Sussex by the Sea! Good old Sussex by the Sea!
You may tell them all we stand or fall, for Sussex by the Sea.”

Nobody wants to mention us , because nobody wants to give us a chance.
Time to prove these so called pundits wrong.:)
My neighbour who’s a Watford fan, was embarrassed at that tackle!!
