Last Night A DJ Saved My Life!

We recently added ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Life foundation’ to our ever-evolving roster of presenters. With host, Dan Storey, along with an assorted array of special guest selectors ‘LNADJ’ will showcase their incredible knowledge of music from across the genres, whilst highlighting the importance of what they are set up to do.

Founded in January 2010 ‘LNADJ’ are a charity foundation, which strives to change the way people view charitable work through innovative campaigns & initiatives, which connect the global dance music community with charitable action in support of children in crisis. By enlisting the great and good of the dance music world as ambassadors for the many incredible projects they curate, they have helped to shine a very much needed light on the plight of children in some of the poorest parts of the World. LNADJ create opportunities & fundraising initiatives to enable the dance music industry to make a positive impact in support of children in crisis. The aim is to inspire people to be the agent for positive changes in their communities, becoming part of a greater movement in the world.

Since its humble beginnings the foundation has developed, through the commitment and passion of generous volunteers, along with the support of some key companies & individuals both inside & outside of the dance music industry. LNADJ provides the vision, connections & essential groundwork. They create partnerships with like-minded organisations, providing funding & support for selected charities and projects.

One of the current long running projects is the ‘Have a drink on us’ campaign. Together with their current ambassador, Eats Everything, LNADJ are bringing clean water to those currently living without it. One of their missions is to help alleviate the World Water Crisis.
The concept is simple – clean water for all.

Another imminent project involves, George Evelyn, aka DJ E.A.S.E aka Nightmares On Wax, along with Defected’s master musician and percussionist, Shovell. It also involves the small challenge of climbing, Mount Kilimanjaro!

The challenge has been given the name ‘Ain’t no mountain high enough’ and there were two Climbs planned, the first has passed and was between the 13th and 23rd of June and the second is next month between 14th and 24th September, which takes a different route.

The invite to you, dear reader and budding adventurer, is to trek Africa’s highest mountain for Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and enjoy breath-taking views across the African plains as you approach the 5,895 metre summit.
It’s a once-in-a lifetime challenge, which is guaranteed to leave you with a huge sense of achievement and incredible memories.

With the funds you are raising for this challenge LNADJ have chosen to continue to support Featherstale Special needs children’s home based in Tanzania. Monies raised will primarily go towards the building of a new purpose built 20 bedroom accommodation facility which will house over 25 to 50 special needs Children and their single parent mothers. A truly remarkable and worthy cause managed by an amazing team. As always, the sooner the funds can be raised the sooner the project can be completed!
