So we’re Tim Walker and Hannah Sherlock, we’re Love is the Message and we like parties and songs.
Love is the Message was born from years of legendary house parties in the Hove home of Hannah and Kieran Sherlock and evolved into a series of twice-yearly club based parties in Brighton. Each event is underpinned by an alchemy and ethos of excellence – the best music played on the best sound system in the best venue with the most up for it crowd.
Guest Dj’s get to play whatever they like, all night long – and so far our line up has featured Simon Lee/Faze Action, Gordon Kaye, Michael Cook, Jayne Winstanley, John Stokes and Ben Monk – and of course there’s our yearly May Day Bank Holiday event: ‘ Love is the Message presents Down to the Sea and Back’ with Kelvin Andrews and Balearic Mike, lauded by several happy punters as ‘the best night out in Brighton since the 90s’.
For our radio shows, Love is the Message promoter and DJ Hannah Sherlock is joined by disco brother-in-arms – DJ, producer and Love is the Message resident Tim Walker for all manner of good music, as long as its lovely.
