Lee Bright back in the 1BTN bunker for another excellent edition of the BBE Music radio show.
As well as the usual delectable selection of music, Lee is joined in the studio by DJ, musician, presenter and all round tastemaker, Wendy May. Almost 40 years within the music industry, Wendy toured extensively with her band during the first half of the 80’s before starting the now legendary club night ‘Wendy May’s Locomotion’ at London’s Town and country club, a night she still promotes today. Wendy’s club night has been frequented by the likes of, Paul Weller, Elvis Costello, The Pogues, Nick Hornby, Phil Jupitus and Norman Cook; the latter two regularly warming up for, her. Wendy also co-hosted the last series of The Tube on Channel 4, with Jools Holland and Paula Yates.
